One studio, one method, six machines

What Lagree is

Lagree is a strength-training method practised on a variable-resistance machine, the Micro Pro. The movements are slow and continuous, under constant tension: the muscle reaches fatigue without ever taking impact on the joints. A class combines strength, endurance, balance and cardiovascular work. The method in detail.

RYTHM has installed its six machines at JBM Sports, a Toulouse specialist in coaching and physical preparation, in the Carmes district, ahead of the opening of its own studio in the same district. Each class lasts 50 minutes and takes six people at most: the coach corrects every position, one by one. The studio in detail.

What a Lagree class at RYTHM is like

A class lasts 50 minutes and takes six people at most, one per Micro Pro machine. Arrive ten minutes early: the coach gets you set up on the machine and adjusts the resistance with you. The movements then follow one another slowly, under constant tension, with no rest between exercises, and the coach corrects every position. Preparing for your first class.

  • No level required: the resistance is set machine by machine, so a beginner and a trained athlete follow the same class.
  • Sportswear and grip socks, essential on the Micro Pro; the studio lends them if you have none.
  • The class can be taught in English, on request.

Class times

RYTHM runs twelve classes a week, from Monday to Saturday. This week's times are shown further down this page, and the schedule details each day.
